Hat trick for Henley
The weather saw many games called off again on Saturday last however Leonard Fraser Park was in excellent condition for our U15 game versus Mogeely.
We had players on trial for the W.W.E.C. U 11 Development team which took place on Sunday last in Cappoquin.
Result: Synergy Credit Union Fermoy U 15 League
Brideview Utd 4 Mogeely FC 2
Jake Henley turned in a powerful performance here as he tormented Mogeely's defence and grabbed a hat trick for himself.
The opening goal came after 10 minutes when a free kick to Utd saw Ciaran Kelleher kick end up in Mogeely's net. Utd increased their lead after 25 minutes when Josh Good set up Jake Henley for the first of his hat trick.
Mogeely pulled a goal back in the 28th minute but again Henley put Utd in front with his second goal in the 26th minute and Utd held this lead till the break.
Jack McDonnell brought off a terrific save for Utd four minutes into the second half and a minute later Mogeely added a second to come back into the game. Henley secured the points for Utd in the 55th minute when he scored form close range. Henley's hat trick and his outstanding performance made him man of the match. Utd had some other players who also turned in good performances on the day.
So well done to all the boys for a great display and a solid victory. Manager Brian Donnelly was delighted with this display and hopefully we will get a good Cup run.
Utd: Jack McDonnell, Ciaran Lenehan, Adam McSweeney, Alan Hurley, Ian Martin, Alex Bennett, Callum McCarthy, Josh Good, Ciaran Kelleher, Jake Henley, Billy Marsh, Fionn Meaney, all played.
Speedy Recovery
This week we wish a speedy recovery to Ann Tobin Ballyhamlet. Ann is in hospital at the moment but hopefully will be home to the loving tender care of husband James by the time these notes appear.
Academy News
Much good work is being done by the Academy coaches in the club week in week out. However we are looking for more people to come on board. indeed anyone who may be interested in giving some of our managers a hand at U13, U15 and U16 would be more than welcome.
On the mend
The following are all home from hospital and on the mend. They are Sean Tobin, Noel Henley, Michael Delaney, and Helen Scotton. Husbands and wife are doing a great job. I will say no more here. If all those people who have got hip replacements hit the square together I'm sure alarms will go off all over town, Right Gang!!!
Bon Voyage
All in Brideview wish Kieran Fraser and his friend Martin Murphy the best of luck as they head to Australia. The boys left on Saturday last. Kieran was a member of the club. A Junior team while also on the committee. Martin served in the Club as a Manager of our B team. The very best lads from all in Utd.

Colum Cille, Tallow has always had a good relationship with the Tyrone hurling
club. We were last there in 2006 for the official opening of their field by
then president Nickey Brennnan. The same occasion was sandwiched between our
senior relegation game and replay against Ballyduff Lower. So Liam Mulcahy the

getting a collection of junior hurlers to travel to the North . The approx cost

bus, accommodation, and a meal on arrival. We are looking for a €50 deposit by the weekend. Contact Liam or Terence if interested.

Just one game played
It was another one of those weekends with almost all games falling foul to the weather. Some games on Saturday morning did take place but these were very few.
Our U10 side were the only team in action for Brideview over the weekend. Inter League games were also called off with S.F.A.I. doing a blanket call off for all the games on Sunday unless teams had already travelled on Saturday for these games.
U10 Academy:
Inch Utd travelled to Tallow on Saturday morning last to play our boys. The weather was dry so the kids were glad to play a game. Utd's squad all played. Josh Mangan, Jack Dee, David Murphy, A.J. Goulding, Oisin Lynn, Paul Hegarty, James McDonnell, Darragh O Donovan and Oscar Cunningham who scored a terrific goal.
