Occupational First Aid Course

First aid benefits everyone. It can treat everything from a sprained ankle to a cardiac emergency. A little first aid know-how can have a big impact!

A QQI (previously Fetac) Accredited Occupational First Aid Course will take place here in the Enterprise Centre in Tallow. The course runs for 3 full days on Sat 26th Sept, Sat 10th Oct & Sat 17th Oct. It starts at 9am until 5pm each day with breaks in between. Please note you must attend the 3 full days to receive your certificate! The cost of the course is €230 per person.

Social Media for Everyday Life Course

It's a social world, don't feel left out!

Social Media for Everyday Life course beginning in Tallow Enterprise Centre on Thursday 24th September from 2pm - 4pm. This is a 6 week course and will involve learning about various online communities such as Facebook, Twitter etc as well as how to connect to social media on your own Ipad / Iphone.

Tallow Senior Citizens Outing July 2015

Tallow Senior Citizens Outing takes place on Thursday 16th July 2015. We are going to John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, on to Wexford afterwards. This will be followed by a meal in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan.

Bus leaving at 9 a.m. Cost is €40. Deposit of €20 to be paid to Mary Mangan or any committee member by Thursday 9th July.

SUMMER  COOKERY  FUN                    -      July 21st to July 25th 2014

Morning Camp:     10 am to 12 noon
Afternoon Camp:  2 pm to 4 pm
Age Group:  2nd - 6th Class (8 - 12 years of age)
Cost:  €50 per child, concessions for 2nd and 3rd child
A fun filled week is guaranteed, children will gain a knowledge of ingredients, kitchen hygiene, weighing and measuring while having fun learning how to make simple, healthy, nutritious dishes.
Spaces are limited so book early.


GAEILGE MO GHRÁSA
IRISH  SUMMER  CAMP  FOR  KIDS!    -     July 28th to August 1st 2014

Afternoon Camp:  2 pm to 4 pm
Age Group:  2nd Class - 1st Years               
Cost:  €25 per child, €45 for 2 children, further concessions for 3rd child
This is a fun filled opportunity for your child to improve their Irish speaking and writing skills while taking part in an action packed camp.   'Through Irish' they will increase their knowledge of the Irish language, learn about Irish music, take part in dramatic and artistic activities and learn about Irish food, culture and history.


KID'S  KNITTING  CAMP                         -      August 5th to August 8th 2014  (4 days)

Morning Camp:     10 am to 12 pm
Age Group:  8 to 12 year olds
Cost:  €25 per child, concessions for 2nd and 3rd child
Beginner's welcome as children will be taught basic stitches.  Included is a ball of wool and simple patterns.  Children will need to bring Kids size 4mm knitting needles.

NEW OFFICE ADMIN. COURSE FOR TALLOW ENTERPRISE CENTRE - April 2012

We are pleased to announce the start of our new Introduction to Office Administration Course this April.  The course will run for 6 weeks on a Wednesday or Thursday night for three hours starting at 6:30pm until 9:30pm. The fee is €120.

This course is aimed at people who want to learn new skills to improve their employment opportunities.  It is ideal for young people and students leaving Ireland for pastures new (for the summer or more permanently), giving them additional tools to seek employment abroad.  Working in an office may not be their intended career choice but often when first arriving in a new country it is a gateway into employment, especially when seeking work through agencies.  The course will also suit anyone who wants to make a career change or return to work within Ireland and for self employed who, with the current economy, find themselves doing more admin work.
